Another reading challenge for me 🙂
This one is hosted by Carolina Book Nook, it lasts the whole year and the challenge is to read six books, one for each category:
- An ampersand – & (ex. Blanca & Roja, Rot & Ruin)
- An antonym (ex. Big Little Lies, Wicked Saints)
- 4 letters or less (ex. Feed, Vox)
- A given/first name (ex. Tess of the Road, Flowers for Algernon)
- Reference to children (ex. Baby Proof, Children of Blood and Bone)
- One of the 4 natural elements – water, air, fire, earth (ex. The River at Night, The Name of the Wind)
I’m not sure yet which books I’ll read for this challenge, but I’m interested in some of the example titles like Wicked Saints. I’ll update this post as I go.
Read so far:
- An ampersand – & – Red, White & Royal Blue
- An antonym – Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan
- A given/first name – The Death of Ivan Ilych by Leo Tolstoy
- 4 letters or less – Foe by J.M. Coetzee
